The deaths of Johnny Gaudreau and Matthew Gaudreau devastated Boston College, with the community calling it an "incredible loss."

Johnny
Gaudreau, 31, had a successful three-year career at Boston College from 2011 to 2014. He played for the Eagles until 2017. They were unfortunately struck by an SUV after 8 p.m. while riding their bikes together in Oldmans Township, New Jersey. The driver, who was allegedly under the influence of alcohol, stayed at the scene and was taken into custody, according to police.
